Hunting

Hunting is something that a lot of vampires wonder about.  So I thought it would be a great idea to get a post out on it as soon as possible.  I will do future posts on this same subject so do not worry that this is the first and final article.  I think we are going to have LOTS to come, lol because just in the last two days of gathering responses I already NEED to make a post.  Grab your safe words ladies and gentlemen lol and lets have some fun.  Class is in.

 have often been asked if I have any tips for hunting.  I took this and some other common questions put them on a note card and passed it to my bloodlines elders.  I got some interesting responses.  I also got some totally conflicting responses and there is a reason.  The reason is everyone has their own style of hunting.  Remember that your going to be working closely with the person your wanting to add into your bloodlines and as their liege your going to be responsible for them.  Bottom line it takes time to get to know someone.

Our first victim  says " I like to perv their profile, see what groups they are in, if they are at East its interesting to see if / how they act. Get to know them, become their friend, some hunts can take months."

our second was asked if there were any firm don'ts when hunting he replied " Don't be ugly, being ugly is bad.. being ugly= no sex. Learn to rp. bad rp= no sex. Don't message someone and just say hi. Hi alone=no sex.  Small talk is for noobs." 

Most want to know if they should be sexual in their hunting well again we asked outside sources what they thought one stated 

" I tell people - Don't use sex as a form to get them to join , it will never end well ."

Another gave a totally opposing answer " put all your experience points into sex, Get your sex skill maxed asap. Sex is the most important stat in secondlife. The art of seduction is the key to hunting ;)"

 My official opinion?  What do you want out of your secondlife?  If your very sexual in secondlife then more than likely your going to be very sexual in your bloodlines.

 Should you use it as a tool for hunting...you can and it may even gain you minions short term but to be a great vampire you will need to be known for more than your powers of seduction.  To reach royal status you need 400 souls.  I cannot imagine anyone having time for that ;P
